'Teleportation soon possible' Shock claim from Russian scientists
SCIENTISTS have pledged to make human teleportation a reality within the next 20 years, it has been revealed.

A team working for Russian President Vladmir Putin say they are confident the Star Trek-like technology could be operational by 2035.
The Kremlin plans setting aside £1.1billion to fund an inter-agency group called the "National Technology Initiative" (NTI), which will work using a technique called quantum communications infrastructure.
Alexander Galitsky, a Russian technology investor, said: "It sounds fantastical today, but there have been successful experiments at Stanford at the molecular level.
"Much of the tech we have today was drawn from science fiction films 20 years ago."

A wider project, with a total budget of £1.4trillion, has been described as a “road map” for developing Russia's cybernetics market.
It also includes creating a new Russian computer programming language, secure cybernetic communications, quantum computing, and communication between computers and human brains.
The latter comes ahead of attempts to downloads personalities and memories to computer to create virtual avatars of people which could live on after they have died.

Russia is keen to propel itself to the forefront of science and IT.
So far no scientist has been able to teleport any solid particles.
But earlier in 2016, German researchers announced they discovered a method of teleporting information about solid particles using a laser beam.
Dr Alexander Szameit said that, while it may not be possible to teleport actual solid particles, it is possible to their teleport their properties from one place to another.
